As a huge food network junkie I saw this place in a Man vs. Food episode where Adam ordered a monstrous sandwich. The place looked packed and the food looked good so I thought that I would brave the storms and get the inside scoop for my faithful readers.
Two things that stand out about this place – Long lines mean a descent wait for your food, and the Dutch Crunch Bread – holy moly delicious.
I made a special trip to review this location, the place is pretty basic with really nowhere to eat. there is a sign at the register with ideas on where to take an Ikes Sub. I ordered up a sandwich that had turkey bacon and avocado with a healthy smattering of Ikes “Dirty Sauce” which looked to have perhaps some roasted garlic, and may some balsamic, or Worcestershire sauce. Not sure, it looked like brown mayonnaise. It was good, but HEAVY and dripping with ingredients, very messy. I definitely felt weighed down for several hours, but the food was great. Definitely hit up this spot if you are in the area!!
