Five Guys Burgers, although a chain, which I am never big on, provides a very tasty burger. Cooked to order you can add bacon, mustard, ketchup…a myriad of toppings. I will still rank In and Out above these tasty treats, but they are very good. The patty itself had a fresh ground texture (Rather then the processed firmness of most franchise burgers). That really sets it apart for me. Other then the 3 thousand calorie meal that is sure to cause issues down the road with heart disease, this burger is something I would like to experience again.

Bakery Station Salinas, Ca
23 Mar
With at least as much intensity that I love Italian Food, I love, love, a sandwich for lunch. I am on the lookout for the best sandwich on the globe; but ill start with Monterey Bay.
The Bakery Station was recently opened in Salinas in an old gas station. The have redone it with a hip-retro rehab that makes it very inviting. It is indeed small venue so I take my sandwiches on the road with me. But the neat thing about this place is that they bake their own breads for their sandwiches, and they have some very inventive concepts.
The sandwich that I ordered was a VW. Which consists of Swiss Cheese, Carrots, Sprouts, Tomatoes, red onions, Jalapeno with a fresh made Aoli one homemade Wheat Bread. If you are in the area, give it a shot!
Ambiance/Décor – 3.4 hip looking, not a lot of room though
Initial Greeting/Seating – 4.0 friendly staff
Wait Staff – xx N/A
Food Presentation xx N/A
Food Quality – 4.0 very good
Price – $ – 7 bucks a sandwhich basically
Overall rating (out of 5 stars) – 3.8 – in the sandwhich category darn good.
