Sierra Mar, Post Ranch, Big Sur, Ca

Big Sur is obviously one of the most stunningly beautiful destinations in the known universe. Breathtaking cliff side vistas and a peaceful ambiance create a beautiful atmosphere for visitors. Post Ranch is one of the most expensive, and exclusive resorts in the Big Sur area, and deserves the price it commands.

Although I did not stay there, i did enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant, Sierra Mar. This restaurant is one of the finest I have ever been to and rivals the Michelin Rated restaurants I have been to around the world. The views are stunning, and the food (including the wine list) are superb. The menu varies seasonally, however here are some photographs of the food that I sampled.

Poan Restaurant Carlsbad California

In my travels to find great culinary experiences, I sometimes utilize even hacky sack online companies like Yelp (the filter real reviews, and they need to be sued for this – they will). This restaurant is one of the highest rated Yelp Restaurants in Carlsbad, so I stopped in for a bite. It is also one of the highest rated restaurants in the San Diego Area. It is truly a must visit in the area.

The service was very professional and experienced. The restaurant was beautiful, it is a contemporary french themed food-wise. I ordered a glass of Pisoni Pinot Noir (Glad they were representing our fantastic growing region). And I had a seafood appetizer the Yellow fin Tuna Tartare which was very tasty with a lovely vinaigrette that was actually Asian themed. The Menu looked very well put together and I would love to return to sample the other items in the menu. This place is perfect for a higher and fine dining experience in the Carlsbad area.
