Oyster Feast, Bay to Breakers, Caesars San Francisco, Ca

18 May
Just finished a fantastic Weekend in San Francisco!  Oyster Festival 2011 was a blast, lots of great raw and grilled Oysters combined with great live music.  I was able to enjoy a dozen raw oysters, imbibe about 8 cocktails and listen to Pepper as well as Guster.  The weather, which was suppose to be rain opened up into beautiful sunshine (started off a bit foggy)
After Oyster festival my friends and I were properly Pissed as the brits would say, so we decided to walk to an Italian restaurant named Caesar’s about 10 blocks away.  10 blocks in an eternity for me, we do not walk anywhere in Pebble Beach.   This Italian Joint turns out to be PACKED and sort of cafeteria/Banquet style food-wise, I had a 7 course dinner with wine, and Veal Parm as my main course, if I wasn’t so wasted I could tell you that the food was good, but I don’t remember.  I can tell you the ambiance left much to be desired.  The service was good and the food was acceptable.  I give it a 2.8 out of 5. I dropped 100 dollars for my date and I, certainly not worthy of that price tag…
Bay to Breakers was an event in and of itself.  Way too many queer men fully nude. The first mile furnished the only decent site, a very attractive female  with a small strip of duct tape on her ample bosom.  Well, then there was the disturbing, a  man  with a top hat and an erection standing in the street, as well as bejeweled Vergas  all over.  Not my cup of tea, may be the last time I run the race, but the alcohol and debauchery with my friends was a good time.  I wouldn’t mind doing that again.  Liver damage after running 28 minute miles for 7 miles straight (OK more like stumbled for 7 miles!)  The giant Beach Ball was fun!
